SurgiTest Board Groups

Board prep is personal. It does not have to be solitary.

Create a private accountability group with two to five friends. Commit to meaningful practice, see verified progress, and unlock a better annual rate as the group grows—without exposing private performance data.

The Group Rate

A simple ladder that rewards the group fairly.

Every member keeps an independent annual subscription. When the group reaches a new tier during the 14-day formation window, eligible members automatically receive only the additional savings needed to reach that tier.

No public coupon codes or shared billing account.

No one can manage another member’s subscription.

No clawback from legitimate members if someone later leaves.

First eligible annual term only; offers do not stack.

At least one annual purchase must be attributed through the group invitation or group checkout during formation. Existing members can still receive the equalized benefit when a friend activates through the group.

04
Privacy boundary

Accountability without exposure.

SurgiTest creates a separate group-safe projection. Raw exam sessions and billing records never become shared group documents. Exact results are visible only when the candidate deliberately shares them.

Group owners are organizers, not administrators.

They can invite members and coordinate a challenge, but cannot inspect private data, change another person’s settings, or control access and billing.

Frequently asked

Clear rules. No awkward surprises.

Do Board Group members need the same specialty?

No. Same-specialty and mixed-specialty groups are supported. Shared progress is based on completion of each person’s own plan, not cross-specialty raw scores.

How does the Group Rate work?

Two eligible annual members unlock 5% off, three unlock 10%, four unlock 15%, and five unlock 20%. As the group grows during its 14-day formation window, eligible members automatically receive only the additional refund or account credit needed to reach the new tier.

Does one person pay for the entire group?

No. Every member owns a separate SurgiTest account and subscription. No friend can cancel another person’s access, see payment information, or control billing.

Can my friends see my scores?

Not by default. Members see commitments and verified completion. A candidate can explicitly share a result at a chosen level and revoke it later.

What happens if someone leaves?

The social group updates, but previously delivered Group Rate savings are not clawed back from legitimate members. Leaving never cancels another person’s subscription.

Can a residency program use Board Groups?

Board Groups are intentionally limited to two through five peers. Larger teams should use SurgiTest program access so governance, privacy, seats, and reporting are handled appropriately.

The people who know your schedule can help protect your momentum.

Create a private group, invite the person already preparing beside you, and make the next week of board practice visible, specific, and achievable.
